Public art can enrich the experience of the Tower Grove Connector and contribute to the sense of place where the art is located. 

Greater St. Louis, Inc. is interested in commissioning an artist or artist team to create a site-specific artwork for the area under the I-44 overpass at Tower Grove Avenue as part of the Tower Grove Connector. Utilizing the columns, and potentially the sloping concrete sides, the art should transform the space, having both a daytime and nighttime presence.  

Public Art Goals:
- Create a sense of welcome and reflect the unique character of the adjacent neighborhoods.
- Serve as a connector, helping knit together the north and south sides of the interstate.
- Support the use of the bike and pedestrian corridor.
